Starbucks has freebies for you on Fridays in Seattle through June 18. Stop by after 2 p.m. and pick up the following, as long as supplies last:

Free Movies Regal Cinemas Crossroads & The Landing Stadium: Family Film Festival

Check it out my Seattle Eastside friends. In this economy, you can't go wrong with FREE movies for the kiddos in the summer.

Selected G or PG movies start at 10:00am every Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival. Tickets and seating are first-come, first-served and are limited to theater capacity.

The Free Family Film Festival is safe, lots of fun and a great way for kids to spend a weekday morning in the summer. Tickets for our 2010 Free Family Film Festival are exclusively available at select theaters’ box office on the day of the show.

With three kids, I need deals like these in this recession. My favorite which I already knew about? Baja Fresh,. Hand down.

I ate there last Sunday with 2 kids for less then $8. My daughter loves their fresh and FREE salsa bar and ate like a quart of their pico de gallo.

Then we went on to Sears and bought a heavily reduced Land's End Down vest from for my daughter for $4, originally $38. Nice, eh?

Next Stop? We found 2 polyester Speedo competition suits for my daughter for $16 which were normally $60 each. Thank you Marshalls.

I figure that Sunday I saved over $120. Can't go wrong with that, eh?

Free Sail Boats Excursions

Our Cast Off! program allows visitors the chance to sail in classic boats.
The boats we use include: Admirable, a Bristol Bay Gillnetter, Amie, a Friendship sloop, Colleen Wagner, an Egret Sharpie, our long-boat Discovery, our New Haven Sharpie Betsy D, or a visiting classic.

Before and after your sail take a walk on the docks and discover the boats. Watch the volunteer crews rigging the boats. They’ll be happy to answer any question you might have, and you may even have a chance to help with the rigging!

We sail rain or shine, but wind conditions may keep us at the dock. Reservations are taken day-of-sail only at the CWB front desk. We do not accept phone reservations. This is a popular activity so please arrive early to reserve a spot on the boat.

I hunger for buy-one-get ones.

Free tickets? I am so there. Free food? Even better. Are you with me?

I've been this way since college. Now, after three kids, a frightening economy and a monstrous mortgage, all the better.

This blog will be a source of those freebies I find in the Seattle area and specifically in the outrageously expensive, hard to find a bargain Eastside 'burbs.
